A poem for my upcoming book, Pearls of Hope, A Devotional
Like the rustling of leaves in the autumn’s wonderment,
There is a hope, alive like the color of light,
Singing to the heart, whispering to the soul – music
Flowing beneath the silence of dawn, amid the whispers
Night rising in gentling breathes, erasing the darkness
With a tenderness, affection much more alive
Than any recollection – like the stars glistening so bright
Like the serenity of laughter, soothing away doubts,
Lifting the spirit to new places,
Places where love never fades, where light is awake,
Promising the heart to give hope, HOPE so alive
It feels like a piece of kindness being poured out on the
Soul who listens and hears, His precious voice
Stilling every fear, wiping away each and every tear
Like the sunrise, flaming with embers – beautiful embers
Blazing gold and sparkling ginger, blushing rose
On seas of azure wishes, inspiring the soul to feel
Beneath the passing clouds, beliefs alive with reflections
In bold lyrics, vibrant yearnings – painting the skies
In rejoicing, burning away the worries with truth, resilient
Truth caressing the soul with a hope more alive than any hope
Like the anticipation, the promise, the HOPE
So alive it feels like the blessings…
Rained down from heaven, filling souls with the Holy Ghost,
The One who sings confidence through the life,
The One who gentles dreams and abides with peace
The One who arises, like the Son, who arose for everyone
Hope this courageous is a hope that lives on, forevermore
